A little insight into our life...

Twas' the night before....

So today is the last day before i am going to go run the half marathon.  I guess i can't really call it a half marathon, because i just drove around in my car and clocked 13.1 miles out from the house, but i think i will be just as satisfied when I'm done. Maybe someday, i doubt it, i will actually sign up for one and run the whole thing!

I will be running about 6.5 ish miles out and back so it should be just around 13.1 miles, yeah its not glamorous, but there are not that many people that have never trained or ran before that can say they are going to do this! Im pretty excited about it actually!  Im hoping to keep up about a 9.5 minute mile pace so i can stay just around 2 to 2.5 hours for the whole thing, but we'll see!  There are soooooo many factors that could come into play, like wind, heat, soreness, etc.  I hope it turns out good! I have worked my butt off to get to this point and i think it will pay off!

I don't really have much else to say except that I'm super tired!!  Jackson decided to go to bed then wake back up at like 12:30 and not go back to sleep until 5 this morning.  I tried to cuddle him to sleep but right when i put him into the crib he started screaming, so i picked him up and got him calmed down to the point that i could put him back in the crib to just let him play.

When he finally calmed down and just played, he would start crying any time i even turned around to head back to bed, so basically i was standing at the side of the crib until 5 a.m. from around 2:30 or so, it was grrrrreat! Then i got to work a 10 hour shift on my feet the whole time, full of post ops! woo hoo!!

Oh well, no worries, Brighton finally got some sleep which i know she needed really badly!

Im gassed though, so I'm heading to do the rest of the stuff i need to do tonight then hopefully go to bed or at least relax for a bit!

Weight: 172.4 lbs

I think this weight thing is kinda getting crazy.  I'm a little scared to drop out of the 170's, i think my body type just doesn't go that low! We'll see though, i have a feeling that running the half marathon might tip me over the edge...
