Jackson has starting using a sippy cup instead of bottles, because it is much much cleaner and he is good at drinking from them, so we thought we'd try it out!
He LOVED, absolutely LOVED the swing. He was screaming and laughing and trying to pull himself up and just plain having fun. We actually pushed him pretty high and he had a blast the whole time, then we took him to the slides and he was just kinda blah. For some reason that swing just made his day. It was fun to watch him and push him higher.
After that we went to Coldstone to use up the last 5 bucks we had on a gift card to get some delicious ice-cream. they were out of root beer to make my float which was a bummer, but we ended up with good choices, good enough that we liked each others more than the one we chose.
It was just nice to have a night to ourselves, out doing whatever we felt like doing, and just having fun with our little boy. He is getting way way way to big! We can't wait to get into our house so we can do that more often! Here are some pictures of the night, enjoy!
He is so close to crawling!!
He really does love his sippy cup!
Like Father, like son...
Like Mother, like Son!! haha, i love this picture
He seriously loved the swing
He always makes it to the edge of the blanket, then has to stop and test out the grass haha
... and this is what happens after he feels the grass apparently haha funny kid.
He looks so big in this picture!
Mom trying to push and tickle him at the same time!
The picture doesn't play sound, but if you can imagine him screaming at the top of his lungs for joy, that would be close to what he sounded like haha
He was pretty much over the park by this time, the slides just didn't catch his attention.
We plan on going back to this park to hit up the splash pad sometime. We wanna see how Jackson does in the crazy water stuff, should be fun!
