I haven't really talked much about living here in sin city. It has been very eye opening to me, not just the culture shock of not being in bubble rexburg but the fact that this city is just so dang big and it is the world and all that good stuff. We are also lacking in the friend department, not to mention my family no longer lives 4.5 hours away for an easy weekend get away in fabulous Boise, ID. Nope, its us and Brighton's family, which has been incredible and very fun, especially since we are living with em! Things have been pretty good, i was definately blessed to find a job that happens to be in the field i want to work in the rest of my life, and let me tell ya, i LOVE GOING TO WORK! I have literally never said that before at any job i have ever had. I get to meet some pretty cool people and actually see progression back to normal life, and the people, with exception of some, are very very grateful that i am doing what im doing to help them. So grateful, in fact, that i have gained almost 10 lbs back from losing 16 because they feel like the only way to thank us is by baking cookies, and brownies, and cupcakes. I guess it is partially my fault for eating it, but hey, they put it in front of me and had those puppy dog eyes...
I love living here, even though we have no friends and money is tight. It was been a great experience and i hope that someday i will come to be able to call the fabulous Las Vegas my home! For now... its growing on me!!
