A little background...
I have lived in Boise for the majority of the part of my life that i am self aware of my surrounding and have the ability to manipulate them in a favorable or non-favorable way, i.e. since i was in 1st grade. so a little while. I lived in 2 houses while i was there, the first existing on Patrina Dr. and the other on W. Hickory Nut st. I have quite the attachment to the latter and without a hint of resignation, call it my home. I went through elementary school in the first place; middle and highschool in the second and most of my college career has been returning home to that very house on Nut st. Well, folks, history is about to re-write itself. My parents will officially be moving to Seattle! Now i say re-writing itself because we previously resided in the little town of Everett, WA which is just outside of Seattle (about an hour, and when i say an hour, everything is about an hour away, stupid..) anyway, after we left Washington is when we settled in the great bronco state of Idaho, in Boise. Well imagine my thoughts and feelings on this transformational change. I actually still don't know what to feel but so far it has been.. happy, confused, excited, and blah all at the same time. I am really happy for them and this choice they have made, probably because i love it when they do something with their lives and have exciting times, or maybe its just because we get the comfortor and pillow set in the bedroom downstairs, i don't know, all i can say for the moment is that i love my parents and i love Boise, long live BOISE STATE!! Maybe i'll put some nastalgic pictures up for your viewing pleasure... someday.
