High Adventure 2003

I thunk back to the last high adventure i went on as a priest by looking at some pictures. Now, because i'm an advisor in the Teachers quorum i had to get pretty excited because i'm not quite in the same shape as i used to be and we will be heading out into either the White Clouds, or Sawtooth mountains for a near 9 mile hike. Well heres a few tender moments from my last high adventure for your viewing pleasure:

Myself, James, and Josh lookin tough while taking a break from the grind.

At the top of a pass with the rest of the Priests.

Umm... apparently we liked to have our shirts off, but hey we looked good right?

Josh, myself and Mckay coming down the final pass of the 20 mile hike.

Ha once again, no shirts... oh well get used to it.

So these next pictures were the funnest part of the whole hike. We slowed down towards the end of the hike to enjoy it before it was over and we heard rushing water and went to explore and found this huge natural waterslide out in the middle of the mountains! It was probably 30-40 feet, or more, long of slick rock to slide on... here is the evidence! Oh and the picture of us in sleeping bags is how we do things here in Idaho when we go camping, who needs a tent?!

So there ya go... hopefully this next hike will be just as fun but we'll see! I wanted to put this up before the next hike so i can compare them when i post more pictures in a month or so!
